Ready to tune in?

Whether you're an independent artist looking for representation, or a music supervisor searching for the right track — we'd love to hear from you.

How sync licensing works.

Sync licensing is the process of placing music into visual media — film, television shows, commercials, trailers, video games, and digital content. When a production needs the right sound to complement a scene, they work with sync agents and music supervisors to find and license tracks from independent artists and catalogs.

Submit Your Music

Artists, composers, and producers submit their catalog to Fenger Music. We review each submission for quality, originality, and sync-readiness — ensuring your tracks are properly tagged with metadata, cleared for licensing, and pitch-ready.

We Pitch to Supervisors

Our team builds direct relationships with music supervisors, advertising agencies, film studios, and television networks. When a brief comes in, we match the right tracks from our roster to the creative vision — pitching your music directly to decision-makers.

Placement & Royalties

We only take a commission on the fee to license your music. You retain complete ownership of your master recordings and publishing. You get 100% of performance royalties, and ongoing revenue from your placements.

Submit Your Music for Sync Licensing

Sync licensing questions, answered.

What is sync licensing?

Sync licensing (short for synchronization licensing) is the legal process of licensing music for use in visual media — including film, television, commercials, trailers, video games, and online content. A sync license grants the right to pair a song with visual imagery.

What does a sync agent do?

A sync agent represents artists, composers, and producers to get their music placed in film, TV, and advertising. The agent pitches music to music supervisors, handles licensing negotiations, and manages the business side of sync placements so artists can focus on creating.

How do I submit music for sync placements?

Use the contact form above to submit your music to Fenger Music. Include links to your catalog, streaming profiles, and any relevant credits. We review submissions regularly and will reach out if your music is a fit for our roster and current sync opportunities.

What genres work best for sync licensing?

All genres have sync potential. Music supervisors are constantly looking for authentic, original music across every style — from hip-hop and R&B to folk, indie rock, electronic, and everything in between. The key factors are production quality, emotional resonance, and clearance readiness.

Do I keep my rights when working with Fenger Music?

Yes. We operate on a non-exclusive representation model. You retain full ownership of your master recordings and publishing. We earn a commission when we secure a sync placement for your music — aligning our success with yours.

What is a one-stop sync license?

A one-stop license means that all the rights needed to license a track — both the master recording and the underlying composition — can be cleared through a single point of contact. This makes the licensing process faster and easier for music supervisors, which is why one-stop music is highly sought after in the sync world.
